The experience begins with pickup from Baku and continues at a traditional village home in the Absheron area. Your local host will demonstrate how the dough is prepared, shaped and baked inside a traditional clay tandoor. Guests can also participate in preparing and shaping their own bread.
Fresh bread straight from the tandoor is served with a traditional Azerbaijani village breakfast. The table may include local cheese, butter, qaymaq, honey, homemade preserves, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh herbs and tea served in traditional armudu glasses.
